REAR TAIL LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT

THE FOLLOWING REAR TAIL LIGHT BULB REPLACEMENT PROCEDURE SUPERSEDES THE ONE PRINTED ON PAGE 8A-93 OF THE 1981 SKYLARK SERVICE MANUAL. 1.REMOVE PLASTIC CLIP FROM CENTER BUMPER FILLER TO INTERMEDIATE BUMPER FILLER. 2.REMOVE PHILLIPS HEAD SCREW FROM BUMPER FILLER TO TAIL LIGHT HOUSING (ACCESSIBLE FROM UNDERNEATH). 3.OPEN TRUNK LID. 4.REMOVE (4) WING NUTS INSIDE TRUNK, AT REAR OF EACH TAIL LIGHT ASSEMBLY. 5.PULL TAIL LIGHT OUTWARD TO ALLOW ACCESS TO LIGHT SOCKETS. 6.UNSNAP THE WIRING HARNESS RETAINER CLIPS SHOWN ON PAGE 8A-43, FIGURE 2 OF 1981 SERVICE MANUAL. 7.REMOVE BULB SOCKET(S). 8.REMOVE BULB(S). 9.REVERSE PROCEDURES FOR INSTALLATION.
