RUMBLE /VIBRATION FRONT END NEW TIE ROD ASSEMBLY

CONDITION:

SOME 1980 AND 1981 OMEGAS MAY EXPERIENCE A RUMBLING TYPE NOISE IN THE FRONT END OF THE VEHCIEL WHILE DRIVING ON ROUGH ROADS, OR A VIBRATION IN THE FLOOR PAN AREA AT THE DRIVERS FEET. CORECTION: A NEW TYPE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY HAS BEEN DEVELOPED TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION. THIS TYE ROD ASSEMBLY CAN BE IDENTIFIED BY THE FOUR (4) NOTCHES IN THE HOUSING (FIGURE 1). THE TIE ROD ASSEMBLY IS INCLUDED IN KIT PART NUMBER 7843301, (AVAILABLE THRU WDDGM). IT WILL BE NECESSARY TO REPLACE BOTH LEFT AND RIGHT TIE ROD ASSEMBLIES (2 KITS) TO CORRECT THIS CONDITION. REFER TO FIGURE 2 FOR TID ROD ASSEMBLY INSTALLATION PROCEDURE. INSTRUCTIONS ARE ALSO FURNISHED WITH THE KIT.
