Models Affected: 1985 Skylark With 2.8L V-6 Engine (Vin Code W)

Serpentine belt tension specifications are listed below for the subject engine. Also included is an illustration of belt routing. The correct specifications as noted in the following illustration are:

New serpentine belt 122 N.m (90 lbs. ft.) Used serpentine belt 88 N.m (65 lbs. ft.)
