OIL FILTER REPLACEMENT PART NUMBER

MODELS AFFECTED: 1987 SKYLARKS AND SOMERSETS WITH THE 2.5L L-4 ENGINE (VIN CODE U) AND MANUAL TRANSMISSION

1987 Skylarks and Somersets with manual transmissions use the force balance shaft 2.5L engine. The oil filter is accessed through the oil pan drain plug. This engine and oil filter will have expanded use in 1988.

Customers have commented that this oil filter is not readily available from their Buick dealer. Please ask your Parts Department Manager to stock this filter for your customers. The oil filter part number is 25012305 (AC type PF1072).
