IT IS ANTICIPATED THAT A REVISED CLAIM PREPARATION MANUAL WILL BE SENT TO ALL DEALERS IN APRIL 1996. IN THE INTERIM, IN CONJUCTION WITH WINS STAGES III (CHEVROLET - OCTOBER 1995) AND IV (GMC TRUCK - NOVEMBER 1995) REVISED CLAIM PREPARATION MANUALS ARE BEING SENT TO CHEVROLET AND GMC DEALERS NOT DUALED WITH A CURRENT WINS DIVISION (OLDSMOBILE, PONTIAC, CADILLAC OR BUICK).
THE CHANGES INCLUDED IN THE STAGE III + IV CLAIMS PREPARATION MANUAL ARE ATTACHED TO THIS BULLETIN FOR YOU TO INSERT IN YOUR CLAIMS PREPARATION MANUAL IN THE APPROPRIATE LOCATION. THE REVISION ATTACHMENTS AND ADDITIONAL INFORMATION ARE LISTED BELOW AND GROUPED BY THE DIVISION THEY APPLY TO:

GOODWILL ADJUSTMENTS: WHEN SUBMITTING CLAIMS FOR GOODWILL ADJUSTMENTS WHERE THE CUSTOMER IS PAYING FOR A PORTION OF THE REPAIR AND GM IS PAYING FOR A PORTION OF THE REPAIR, SELECT THE APPROPRIATE LABOR OPERATION AND SUBMIT THE PORTION GM IS RESPONSIBLE FOR AS A "NET AMOUNT".
