FRONT GRILL AIR DEFLECTOR REPLACE IF WARPED/DISTORTED

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 CALAIS

Some 1987 Calais models may experience a warped/distorted front grille air deflector. To correct this condition it will be necessary to replace the air deflector and secure as follows. Refer to illustration.

1. Discard two indicated attaching screws,

2. Starting from the center, seat (do not strip) the remaining attachment screws.

3. Back out (loosen) each screw except Screw "A" 3/4 to 1 turn from the seated position. Screw "A" should remain tight.

This process will allow the air deflector matieral to expand/contract due to changing enmvironment conditions without damage.
