SOME OWNERS OF 1987 PONTIAC J AND N CARS WITH TURBO ENGINE AND AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION MAY COMMENT ABOUT A POTENTIALLY HARSH 3-2 DOWNSHIFT DURING A PASSING MANEUVER. THE CONDITION IS MOST LIKELY TO OCCUR IN THE 40-55 MPH SPEED WINDOW AND BEFORE THE NORMAL TORQUE CONVERTER CLUTCH (TCC) UNLOCK.
