1988 2.3 QUAD 4 (VIN CODE D) CAMSHAFT SPROCKET TO CAM TORQUE SPECIFICATION

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988 N SERIES WITH 2.3 QUAD 4 ----------------- (VIN CODE D) ENGINE

The cam sprocket to cam bolt torque specification was omitted from the 1988 New Product Service Manual (Page 6A7-19, Step 14 and Page 6A7-40).

The correct torque is 50 Nm or 37 ft. lbs.

Please note this specification in your 1988 Cutlass Calais New Product Service Manual.
