COLD START STALL, TIP-IN HES. ROUGH/MISS (NEW MEM CAL)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1988-89 N WITH 2.3L VIN D

Some 1988 and 1989 N models with 2.3L (VIN D) engine may exhibit one or more of the following conditions for the first 15 to 60 seconds after a cold start.

- Stall when put in gear - Tip-in hesitation after immediately put in gear - Reduced cold driveability (miss, rough running or backfire)

If any of the above conditions cannot be repaired, following proper service manual diagnosis, it may be necessary to install a new MEM-CAL.
