SUBJECT: REVISED WINDSHIELD WIPER/WASHER SWITCH HANDLE (REVISED SWITCH/LEVER ASSEMBLY W/SHORTER STEM)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992 SKYLARK

CONDITION:

---------- Some 1992 Skylark operators of vehicles built prior to VIN NC615535 may comment on the position of the windshield wiper/washer handle.

CAUSE:

------ The windshield wiper/washer handle may be perceived to be inconvenient due to its length.

CORRECTION:

----------- A revised switch/lever assembly with a shorter stem is available to enhance customer satisfaction. Refer to the 1992 Skylark Service Manual page 3F-4 for the proper procedure.
