FRT SIDE DOOR ARMREST MOLDING RETENTION (APPLY ADHESIVE)

SUBJECT: FRONT SIDE DOOR ARMREST MOLDING RETENTION (APPLY ADHESIVE)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1992-93 SKYLARK MODELS

CONDITION:

Some owners of 1992-93 Skylarks may comment that the front side door armrest molding does not stay fully seated in the door trim panel.

CAUSE:

Front side door armrest molding barbs have been damaged and no longer retain the molding.

CORRECTION:

1. Pull the molding away from the upper trim panel in the affected area.

2. Apply a drop of adhesive, P/N 12345632, or equivalent on the top side of the molding barbs and reinsert the barbs into the slots.

Parts are currently available from GMSPO.
