FUEL FILLER DOOR RATTLE (APPLY FOAM TAPE)

SUBJECT: FUEL FILLER DOOR RATTLE (APPLY FOAM TAPE AT LOCATION SHOWN IN ILLUSTRATION)

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1992 BUICK AND PONTIAC "N" CARS

Condition: Fuel filler door rattles against the remote latch pin.

Cause: Excessive play between fuel filler door and latch assembly.

Correction: Apply a 10.Omm thick strip of closed-cell foam tape at the location shown in Figure 1 of the Illustration.
