Catalytic Converter Replacement 2.4L

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Support the three way catalytic converter.



3. Remove the intermediate pipe from the three way catalytic converter.



4. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.
5. Remove the exhaust manifold seal and the three way catalytic converter seal.
6. Clean the flange surfaces.

1. Install the exhaust manifold seal and the three way catalytic converter seal.
2. Install the exhaust manifold pipe assembly to the exhaust manifold.



3. Install the intermediate pipe to the three way catalytic converter.
4. Lower the vehicle.

Catalytic Converter Replacement 3.1L

1. Raise the vehicle.
2. Support the three way catalytic converter.



3. For the 3.1L engine exhaust, remove the intermediate pipe from the three way catalytic converter.



4. For the 3.1L engine with a dual exhaust, remove the intermediate pipe from the three way catalytic converter.



5. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold seal and the three way catalytic converter seal.
7. Clean the flange surfaces.



8. For the 3.1L engine with a dual exhaust, remove the exhaust manifold pipe assembly from the exhaust manifold.

1. For the 3.1L engine with a single exhaust, install the exhaust manifold seal and the three way catalytic converter seal.



2. For the 3.1L engine with a dual exhaust, install the exhaust manifold seal and the three way catalytic converter seal.



3. For the 3.1L engine with a single exhaust, install the three way catalytic converter.



4. For the 3.1L engine with a dual exhaust, install the three way catalytic converter.
5. Lower the vehicle.
