Subject: | 2005 Crossover UVan Front and Rear HVAC Inoperative |

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom described in the PI.
Customers may report that their new 2005 crossover UVan front and/or rear HVAC unit is inoperative. A diagnostic probe with the Tech2 will find numerous HVAC actuators DTC's (B0408 B0248 B0268 B0238 B3747). Engineering has determined the HVAC actuator wiring harness is routed in a manner that allows the XM radio digital radio receiver to pinch or cut the wiring harness.
Vehicles equipped with RPO U2K (XM Radio) and HVAC actuator related concerns should have the IP pad removed and the actuator harness inspected and repaired if necessary. Also the harness will need to be relocated to ensure there is no future contact between the harness and the XM radio DRR.
