The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some crossover U-Van customers with second row floor console RPO option (VDJ) may report a knocking, clunking or rattle noise. One possible cause is the console hooks used to secure the unit may not be not fully engaged to the floor pan seat pins.

The solution is to remove the anti-rattle tape from the pins. The tape was originally used for the bucket seats and was put on all of the pins to avoid any confusion during assembly.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
