Makes 🢒 Buick 🢒 2006 🢒 Terraza Ext. 🢒 Restraints 🢒 SIR 🢒 Theft Deterrent Exciter Module Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Disable the SIR. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
  2. Remove the trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  3. Remove the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  4. Remove the theft deterrent module (TDM) wiring harness from the steering column harness.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connector.

    6. Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  6. Pull the TDM (2) away from the lock cylinder housing (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 860152 Size: SH
  1. Push the TDM (2) onto the lock cylinder housing (1) .
  2. Install the theft deterrent wiring harness to the steering column harness.
  3. Connect the electrical connector.
  4. Install the ignition lock cylinder. Refer to Ignition Lock Cylinder Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  5. Replace the steering column trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement in Steering Wheel and Column.
  6. Enable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling in SIR.
