MANUAL REVISION-TRUCK LID -LID PULL DOWN UNIT

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988 ALLANTE

The service information relating to the power circuit for the Trunk Lid Pull-Down Unit in the 1987-1988 Cadillac Allante Service Information Manual is incorrect. It is recommended that all Service Information Manuals be updated with the corrected information shown below.

Page 8A-11-0.1:

Circuit 350 (1 RED/WHT) from S214 to Trunk Lid Pull-Down Unit should be removed.

Page 8A-11-5:

Circuit 60 (3 YEL/BLK) should be added to S237 attaching directly to the Trunk Lid Pull-Down Unit power input.

Page 8A-135-0:

"Fuse 3 (3 AMP) should be changed to "Circuit Breaker 22 (30 AMP)". Circuit 350 (RED/WHT) should be changed to Circuit 60 (3 YEL/BLK). S214 should be changed to S237. C404 should be removed.

Page 8A-135-1:

The component location chart should be modified to remove S214 and insert: "S237 Main Hamess, Center Console, Beneath Fuse Block".
