SOME OWNERS MAY EXPERIENCE A CONDITION WHERE THE FOLDING TOP STOWAGE COVER LOCK WILL NOT RELEASE DUE TO LATCH BREAKAGE.
TENSION APPLIED TO THE CABLE DUE TO OVER TRAVEL OF THE RELEASE HANDLE IS SUFFICIENT TO BREAK THE LATCH.
REPLACE THE BROKEN LATCH AND ADD A SPRING BETWEEN THE LATCH AND CABLE TO RELIEVE TENSION WHEN THE RELEASE HANDLE IS PULLED TOO FAR.
