This part describes the basic information you will need to operate the Navigation System.

To plan a trip with a single destination, press the NAV button. Then press the Enter Destination multi-function button. Every trip will have a destination and can also have waypoints (stops) before you reach the final destination. There are several ways to plan a trip (destination). Those ways are described in the following pages.

The Navigation System screen shows a number of symbols that offer information about a variety of topics.

Use the buttons located on each side of the screen, and the TUNE/SEL knob, located to the lower right of the screen to operate the system.

Once the vehicle is shifted into gear, various functions will be disabled to limit driver distraction.
