Condition
Some customers may comment that the rear compartment lid "pop open" height is not sufficient. It is difficult for the customer to tell if the lid has opened.
Correction
Available now from GMSPO is a modified latch striker assembly that increases the "pop up" height of the rear compartment lid.
Replace the existing latch striker assembly with P/N 21995513. Refer to Lock Striker Replacement-Rear Compartment Lid in the Rear Body End sub-section of the Service Manual or SI document #738886.
