Rattle Noise in Rear End Over Bumps (Replace Rear Shock Absorbers)

Some customers may comment that, with four passengers in the vehicle, there is a rattle in the rear end while going over bumps.

This condition may be cause by the pumping action of the self-leveling shock absorbers.

Replace the rear shock absorber with a re-tuned service absorber. Refer to Shock Absorber Replacement in SI (Document ID 750983).
