Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Bracket Replacement CTS-V

Notice: To prevent equipment damage, never connect or disconnect the wiring harness connection from the EBCM with the ignition switch in the ON position.

1. Turn OFF the ignition.



2. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) from the frame. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
3. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
4. Remove the 4 BPMV bracket to frame mounting bolts (2).
5. Remove the BPMV mounting bracket (1) from the frame.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




1. Install the BPMV mounting bracket (1) to the frame.
2. Install the 4 BPMV mounting nuts (2).

Tighten
Tighten the BPMV bracket mounting nuts to 12N·m (106 lb in).

3. Install the brake pressure modulator valve to the BPMV bracket. Refer to Brake Pressure Modulator Valve Replacement .
