Tools Required

    • J 25033-C Pulley Installer
    • J 25034-C Pulley Remover

Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 649303 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to one of the following procedures:
    2. •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 2.8L
    •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7)
    •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 5.7L
  2. Remove the drive belt. Refer to one of the following procedures:
    3. •  Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.8L (LP1)
    •  Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.6L (LY7)
    •  Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L
  3. Using the J 25034-C remove the power steering pump pulley.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 643361 Size: SH
  1. Using the J 25033-C install the power steering pump pulley.

    2. Object Number: 254752 Size: SH
  2. Ensure that the axial tolerance of the power steering pulley on the power steering pump is within 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
  3. Install the drive belt. Refer to one of the following procedures:
    4. •  Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.8L (LP1)
    •  Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 3.6L (LY7)
    •  Drive Belt Replacement - Accessory in Engine Mechanical - 5.7L
  4. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to one of the following procedures:
    5. •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 2.8L
    •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 3.6L (LY7)
    •  Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement in Engine Controls - 5.7L
