This bulletin is being issued to advise the dealers and technicians of the proper labor operation code to use when submitting a warranty claim for the replacement of the Passenger Presence System (PPS). The labor operation code being used is C8836 Module, Passenger Inflatable Cushion-Replace and is incorrect for the repair. The correct labor operation code is C8870-Replacement Kit/Inflatable Restraint Pass Presence System and the labor time for this repair is 0.7 hr.
