This PI has been revised to add additional model years. Please discard PIC4172.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

The vehicle does not start or various intermittent electrical concerns.

Recommendation/Instructions:

Inspect for a loose Battery Cable to Underhood Bussed Electrical Center connection. Torque the fastener to 18 Nm (13 lb ft).

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
