The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some 2005 Cadillac CTS and CTS-V customers may report their streaming navigation traffic feature is not updating and/or it is inoperative. A possible cause is the vehicle's hardware is not compatible with the streaming traffic feature.

Verify the customer concern and confirm the correct Navigation radio, disk and Digital Radio Receiver (DRR) is installed. The Streaming Navigation traffic is only available on vehicles built after 1/18/2005 and the customer has an active subscription.

Important Note: The parts listed below are only available on vehicles built after 1/18/2005 and are required for the streaming traffic feature to work. The Navigation Radio should not be replaced unless diagnostics in eSI directs you to.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
