For customers that value increased tire tread life, GM has identified a suitable replacement tire that achieves this goal. The Goodyear Eagle RSA P225/55R16 is an H-speed rated tire. When switching from the original tire (Goodyear Eagle F1 225/55R16 RPO
QOH), it is necessary to reprogram the ECM with a new speed calibration to reflect the new lower top speed rating (H-speed rating vs W-speed rating).
These calibrations are not selectable on a Tech 2® and require a VCI number from the Techline® Customer Support Center (TCSC). Use the instructions below to request the VCI number.
An e-mail must be sent by the regional office to TCSC's VCI inbox (techline_vci_support @eds .com) in English containing the following information:

| • | Location of the vehicle |
| • | Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) |
The VCI number will then be forwarded back to the regional office. It will take approximately 2-4 days to process the request.
