Engine Replacement - keywords installation instructions ly7 oil level pan replacement sensor

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

When replacing the engines in the listed models the dealer may notice the oil pan is different.

Use the installation instructions that are shipped with the engine and remove the oil pan and replace with the appropriate pan required (from old engine if not damaged). Refer to eSI for the procedure to remove and replace the pan.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
