    Important: For manual transmission applications, note the position and direction of the engine flywheel before removal. The flywheel does not use a locating pin for alignment. Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the flywheel before component removal. Refer to Engine Balancing .

  1. Mark or scribe the end of the crankshaft and the manual transmission flywheel. Refer to Engine Balancing .

    2. Object Number: 1559843 Size: SH
  2. Remove the flywheel bolts.
  3. Remove the flywheel.

    4. Object Number: 1199289 Size: SH
  4. Note the location of the flywheel balance weights, if applicable. Refer to Engine Balancing .
