Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the center I/P air vents. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Deflector Replacement .
  2. Remove the HVAC programer/ashtray assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 700905 Size: SH
  3. Remove the four 10 mm screws securing the radio to the I/P retainer.
  4. Pull out the radio assembly.
  5. Disconnect the electrical connectors.
  6. Remove the radio from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 700905 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors.
  2. Install the radio assembly to the I/P retainer.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  3. Install the HVAC programer/ashtray assembly. Refer to HVAC Control Module Replacement .
  4. Install the center I/P air vents. Refer to Instrument Panel Center Air Outlet Deflector Replacement .
  5. Reprogram the radio. Refer to Control Module References for programming and setup information.
