Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1413889 Size: SH
  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Disconnect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.
  3. Using a 27 mm wrench, remove the backup lamp switch and washer (208) from the case. Discard the washer.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1413889 Size: SH
  1. Install the backup lamp switch and a NEW washer (208) to the case.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the switch to 44 N·m (32 lb ft).

  2. Connect the backup lamp switch electrical connector.
  3. Lower the vehicle.
