Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to SIR Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Remove the front bucket seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
  2. Remove the power recliner position sensor. Refer to Front Seat Recliner Position Sensor Replacement.
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector from the motor.

    4. Object Number: 792013 Size: SH
  4. Remove the recliner motor retaining nuts (1).
  5. Slide the motor off of the shaft.

Installation Procedure
  1. Slide the recliner motor on to the shaft

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 792013 Size: SH
  2. Install the recliner motor nuts (1).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).

  3. Install the electrical connector.
  4. Install the recliner position sensor. Refer to Front Seat Recliner Position Sensor Replacement.
  5. Install the seat into the vehicle. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement.
