Removal Procedure
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Install a screw jack with a block of wood under the oil pan for support.

    3. Object Number: 1398628 Size: SH
  3. Remove the engine mount bracket to engine retaining bolts.

    4. Object Number: 1398629 Size: SH

    Important: Ensure not to distort or bend the engine mount heat shield.

  4. Remove the engine mount bracket to frame retaining bolts.

    5. Object Number: 785352 Size: SH
  5. Remove lower engine mount bracket retaining nuts.

    6. Object Number: 1398634 Size: SH
  6. Remove the left engine mount bracket to the frame stud.

    7. Object Number: 1398661 Size: SH
  7. Remove the left engine mount bracket assembly from the vehicle.
  8. Remove the engine mount from the engine mount brackets. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side .

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the engine mount to the engine mount brackets. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement - Left Side .

    2. Object Number: 1398650 Size: SH
  2. Install the left engine mount bracket assembly to the vehicle.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1398628 Size: SH
  3. Install the left engine mount bracket to engine retaining bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 60 N·m (44 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1398634 Size: SH
  4. Install the left engine mount bracket to the frame stud.

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the stud to 25 N·m (19 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1398629 Size: SH
  5. Install the lower engine mount bracket retaining bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).


    Object Number: 785352 Size: SH
  6. Install the lower engine mount bracket retaining nut.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 80 N·m (59 lb ft).

  7. Remove the screw jack.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
