Preliminary Procedure

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
3. Remove the front compartment sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Sight Shields Replacement .

Using J 38185 reposition the auxiliary water pump outlet hose clamps.
