Driver Window Reverses Direction When Closing - keywords anti close express pinch reverse up

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

The driver door window reverses direction when using express-up. The anti-pinch feature may be detecting an obstruction when none is present.

1. Open the driver door window.
2. Grasp door header in the mirror patch area and adjust/ bend inboard approximately 2.0 mm.
3. Verify the Express-Up function with the door closed. If the concern is not repaired, proceed to step 4.
4. Remove the Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip at the vertical section rearward of the mirror. Adjust window channel width wider (1) along the rear edge of mirror patch section to 16-16.5 mm by bending inboard leg towards the center of the vehicle.
5. Reinstall the Front Side Door Window Inner Weatherstrip and verify the Express-Up function with door closed.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
