Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2009 🢒 CTS 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Water Pump and Generator Belt Tensioner Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the generator and water pump drive belt. Refer to Water Pump and Generator Belt Replacement.

    2. Object Number: 887773 Size: SH
  2. Loosen the drive belt tensioner bolt.
  3. Remove the drive belt tensioner and bolt from the engine.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 887773 Size: SH
  1. Position the drive belt tensioner and bolt to the engine as an assembly.
  2. Ensure that the alignment pin on the rear of the tensioner assembly is aligned with the locating hole on the engine.

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).
  4. Install the generator and water pump drive belt. Refer to Water Pump and Generator Belt Replacement.
