Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 787980 Size: SH

    Note: There is a binding effect on the power window motor drive when the window is in the fully closed or open position.

  1. Partially open the window, if possible.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Remove the wire harness inline retaining bracket.
  5. Remove the screws (1) securing the power window motor to the window regulator.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector.
  7. Remove the power window motor.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 787980 Size: SH
  1. Install the power window motor to the window regulator.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the power window motor to regulator screws (1) and tighten to 4 N·m (62 lb in).
  3. Install the wire harness inline retainer bracket.
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Install the water deflector.
  6. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
