Any time the radio is replaced or a diagnostic procedure requires radio programming, the radio must be programmed using SPS. Refer to Service Programming System (SPS).

The XM satellite radio is integrated into the radio. If XM was activated in the previous radio, the new radio will have to get programmed separately for XM Satellite radio to function. Refer to Digital Radio Receiver Programming and Setup.
