Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1739947 Size: SH
  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the differential cooler assembly. Refer to Differential Oil Cooler Replacement.

    3. Object Number: 1740548 Size: SH
  3. Loosen the hoses clamps (1).
  4. Remove the outlet hose (2) from the pump (6).
  5. Remove the inlet hose (3) from the cooler (5).
  6. Remove the hose (4) from the cooler (5) to the pump (6).

Installation Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1740548 Size: SH
  1. Install the hose (4) and clamp (1) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
  2. Install the inlet hose (3) and clamp (1) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in).
  3. Install the outlet hose (2) and clamp (1) and tighten to 3 N·m (27 lb in).

    4. Object Number: 1739947 Size: SH
  4. Install the differential cooler assembly. Refer to Differential Oil Cooler Replacement.
  5. Fill the differential. Refer to Axle Lubricant Change.
