Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2009 🢒 CTS 🢒 Transmission 🢒 Automatic Transmission - 6L50/6L80/6L90 🢒 Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
  2. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement
  4. Remove the front compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement

    5. Object Number: 2176270 Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the transmission cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection

    6. Object Number: 2176274 Size: SH
  6. Remove the transmission cooler line bolts.

    7. Object Number: 2176272 Size: SH
  7. Remove the transmission cooler lines bolt.
  8. Remove the transmission cooler lines from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2176272 Size: SH
  1. Install the transmission cooler lines to the vehicle.

    2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  2. Install the transmission cooler lines bolt and tighten to 50 N·m (37 lb ft).

    3. Object Number: 2176274 Size: SH
  3. Install the the transmission cooler line bolts.

    4. Object Number: 2176270 Size: SH
  4. Connect the transmission cooler lines. Refer to Transmission Fluid Cooler Hose/Pipe Quick-Connect Fitting Disconnection and Connection
  5. Reposition the heater hose clamps (1) at the engine using J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers .
  6. Install the front compartment lower noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement
  7. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement
  8. Lower the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  9. Install the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement
