Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the transmission support. Refer to Transmission Support Replacement.
3. Lower the rear of the transmission.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
8 N·m (71 lb in)

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical wire harness from the vehicle speed sensor.
