Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1919936 Size: SH
  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  2. Release the power brake booster pump hose quick connect (1).
  3. Disconnect the power brake booster pump hose from the auxiliary pump.
  4. Disconnect the power brake booster pump electrical connector.

  5. Remove the power brake booster pump bracket nut (1).

    6. Object Number: 1919941 Size: SH
  6. Remove the power brake booster pump bracket bolt (1).
  7. Remove the power brake booster pump from the engine.

    8. Object Number: 1919947 Size: SH
  8. Remove the power brake booster pump bolts (1) and nuts (2).

    9. Object Number: 1919955 Size: SH
  9. Remove the power brake booster pump insulator sleeves (1).
  10. Remove the power brake booster pump insulators (2).
  11. Release the power brake booster pump electrical harness connector (3) from the bracket and remove the pump.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1919955 Size: SH
  1. Assemble the power brake booster pump sleeves (1) to the insulators (2).
  2. Install the power brake booster pump insulators.
  3. Position the power brake booster pump to the bracket and secure the electrical harness connector (3).

    4. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1919947 Size: SH
  4. Install the power brake booster pump bolts (1) and nuts (2) and tighten the bolts to 22 N·m (16 lb ft).

    5. Object Number: 1919941 Size: SH
  5. Install the power brake booster pump to the engine.
  6. Install the power brake booster pump bracket bolt (1) and tighten to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

    7. Object Number: 1919939 Size: SH
  7. Install the power brake booster pump bracket nut (1) and tighten to 70 N·m (52 lb ft).

    8. Object Number: 1919936 Size: SH
  8. Connect the power brake booster pump electrical connector.
  9. Connect the power brake booster pump hose to the auxiliary pump.
  10. Install the power brake booster pump hose quick connect (1).
  11. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
