Power Steering Pump Pulley Replacement V6

Special Tools

1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
2. If equipped, remove the power brake booster auxiliary pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Auxiliary Pump Replacement.
3. Remove the air conditioning compressor and power steering pump belt from the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement.



4. Use remover J 25034-C to remove the power steering pump pulley.

1. Use installer J 25033-C to install the power steering pump pulley.



2. Ensure that the axial tolerance of the power steering pump pulley on the power steering pump is within 0.25 mm (0.010 in).
3. Install the air conditioning compressor and power steering pump belt to the power steering pump pulley. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement.
4. If equipped, install the power brake booster auxiliary pump. Refer to Power Brake Booster Auxiliary Pump Replacement.
5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
