Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement V6

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  2. Siphon the fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir.
  3. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement.
  4. Remove the front lower compartment noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement.
  5. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.

  7. Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  8. Disconnect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
  9. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1300041  Size: SH
  1. Position the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the vehicle.
  2. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
  3. Connect the power steering fluid reservoir outlet hose to the power steering pump.
  4. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pan.
  5. Install the front lower compartment noise shield. Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement.
  6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Front Air Deflector Replacement.
  7. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement.
  8. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .

Preliminary Procedure

  1. Remove the front intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement - Front.
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Siphon the fluid from the power steering fluid reservoir.
  4. Remove the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Remote Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Replacement.

Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
