Preliminary Procedure

1. Using a scan tool, retrieve the percentage of remaining engine oil. Record the remaining engine oil life.
2. Turn OFF the Ignition.
3. Remove the right front compartment side sight shield. Refer to Front Compartment Side Sight Shield Replacement.

Engine Control Module (ECM)

Procedure

1. Disconnect the ECM harness connectors. The ECM harness connectors are equipped with locking levers. Rotate the levers upward to the connectors to disengage the connector.
2. Disengage the ECM bracket retaining tabs.
