Important: If the sunshade spring releases, it will be necessary to rewind it. Refer to step one in the install procedure.
A new service part sunshade comes pre-loaded with a pin tool holding spring tension on the sunshade. If the sunshade spring releases, it will be necessary to rewind it and reinstall the pin tool. Following installation procedure, retain the pin tool for future applications. The cam locking hole will come in to view when the sunshade is in the fully open position on the passengers side.Important: If installing a new service part sunshade it will be necessary to remove the cross bar from the sunshade.
• | Lift up on the sunshade to view the retaining edge of the of the cross bar (3). |
• | Slide the sunshade material (1) out of the retaining edge (2) of the cross bar (3). |
Important: If the sunshade spring releases, it will be necessary to rewind it.
• | Lift upward on the sunshade and cross bar (3), align the sunshade material (1) to the cross bar (3) opening. |
• | Slide the sunshade material (1) through the opening (2) of the cross bar (3) completely. |
• | Turn the sunshade material (1) clockwise half a turn to lock the material in cross bar (3). |
