Cannot Rotate Keyless Access Ignition Switch DTC B3122 Or B3123

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer may comment they cannot rotate the ignition switch and the Electronic Key Not Detected message is displayed in the DIC. The vehicle may be displaying the Security telltale and DTC B3122 or B3123 will be stored in the remote control door lock receiver (RCDLR). The cause may be the body wire harness breakout for the active center console keyless entry antenna (1) being pinched under the passenger front seat at the inboard front attachment point (2).

Inspect circuits 5715, 5716, 5717, 5718 (console active antenna), and 218 and 219 (console antenna) under the passenger front seat and repair the wiring as necessary using SI Diagnostic Information and Procedures.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
