J 38185 Hose Clamp Pliers

1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) down on the hose.



3. Disconnect the hose from the afterboil coolant pump.
4. Using J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back on the hose.



5. Disconnect the hose from the afterboil coolant pump.



6. Disconnect the afterboil coolant pump electrical connector (2) from the afterboil coolant pump (3).
7. Remove the afterboil coolant pump bolts (1).
8. Remove the afterboil coolant pump.

1. Install the afterboil coolant pump.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

2. Install the afterboil coolant pump bolts (1).

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).




3. Connect the afterboil coolant pump electrical connector (2) to the afterboil coolant pump (3).



4. Connect the hose to the afterboil coolant pump.
5. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back into the original position on the hose.



6. Connect the hose to the afterboil coolant pump.
7. Using the J 38185 slide the hose clamp (1) back to the original position on the hose.
8. Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
