Oil Sealer Installer
Removal Procedure
- Remove the engine flywheel from the crankshaft. Refer to
Engine Flywheel Replacement
.
- Center punch the steel
ring of the rear main oil seal.
- Carefully drill a small, shallow, pilot hole into the steel ring
of the rear main oil seal.
- Screw in a self-tapping screw.
- Use pliers to pull the rear main oil seal out.
- Clean all sealing surfaces.
Installation Procedure
- Coat the lip of the rear main oil seal with clean engine oil.
- Use the J 42067
to install the rear main oil seal.
- Clean the rear crankshaft flange.
- Install the engine flywheel to the crankshaft. Refer to
Engine Flywheel Replacement
