Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2003 🢒 CTS - RHD 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 2.6L and 3.2L 🢒 Oil Pump Suction Pipe and Screen Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .

    2. Object Number: 856495 Size: SH
  2. Remove the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts (2).
  3. Remove the oil pump pipe screen bolts (1).
  4. Remove the oil pump pipe screen from the engine.
  5. Remove the O-ring seal. Do not reuse the seal.
  6. Clean and inspect the oil pump pipe screen.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 856497 Size: SH
  1. Insert a new O-ring seal fully into the seal groove.

    2. Object Number: 856495 Size: SH
  2. Position the oil pump pipe screen to the engine.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the oil pump pipe screen bolts (1).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump pipe screen bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  4. Install the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts (2).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the oil pump pipe screen brace bolts to 8 N·m (71 lb in).

  5. Install the oil pan. Refer to Oil Pan Replacement .
